I made another run to Tijeras to get the mail. I was feeling stronger, and I made it up there in a very good time. Also, it wasn't freezing cold. It was cold, but not unbearable. I rode over to see Justin and Alice, because they had been without water for a couple of days, due to frozen pipes. The water co-op had been working on it, and they got it fixed yesterday. The water people told them to keep the water running, and they would credit their bill. They've got horses up there, and they can't be without water.

While I was visiting, Justin told me that the paramedics had been up there that morning, and had taken the neighbor Sharen away to the hospital. He thinks she might have had a heart attack. I hope she's okay. She's got a horse and three dogs that rely on her.

I didn't stay too long, and then headed back down the mountain. It was windy on the way down, but not frigid. At the bottom the temps were probaby in the 40s, and it felt downright balmy. By the time I got back to town, it was in the low 50s. Excellent! I even saw a guy on Tramway who was jogging with no shirt on. He was a little bit crazy.

It was another good day on the bike.

A surprise is coming next week.
